Horses have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I sat in the saddle for the first time at the age of five, and ever since, horses have been the constant thread running through my life.

Then, just as I was turning 40, I joined a horseback expedition through the mountains of Albania.

What started as a holiday became something far more meaningful.

The untouched landscapes, the freedom of riding through remote mountains, the warmth of the local people and the deep connection with the horses completely changed my perspective.

Some journeys leave you with memories.
