Signature Ride “6 days of riding - 7 nights stay”
On this Signature Ride, you will experience the wonderful Albanian hospitality and taste delicious local food grown and produced by the owners without the use of pesticides.
We will also get to know their animals and local traditions. The agrotourism is located in the mountains near the town of Leskovik.
During the rally, we will stay overnight both local guesthouses (allowing us to experience local realities and the true everyday life of people in the Albanian mountains) as well as in places offering a higher standard of accommodation.
Our goal is for this rally to be diverse and to give you the opportunity to see the real Albania as it truly is: sometimes poor, sometimes wealthy, but always hospitable, beautiful and delicious.
Signature Ride - Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival day
Arrival at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza around 2pm. Transportation by bus to the agrotourism. This ride takes about four and a half hours. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a welcome dinner, local wine and raki handmade by our hosts and we’ll sleep at the agrotourism.
Day 2 Agrotourism – Delvinë
After breakfast, you'll meet your horse and receive a short introduction on horse handling and safety. We begin our journey at the agrotourism and head towards the village of Delvinë. The horseback ride takes about 5-6 hours trough the magnificent Albanian mountains.
Day 3 Delvinë – Termy Benja – Petran – Përmet
After breakfast, we set off from Delvinë towards the Benja thermal springs. Here we’ll take a break to enjoy the hot springs and have lunch. These springs are located in one of the most stunning canyons, the Langarica Canyon. Later, we ride to the village of Petran. After taking care of the horses, we travel by bus to the town of Përmet, known as “the town of a thousand roses”. We explore the town before returning to Petran for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Petran – çarshovë (along Vjosa river)
After breakfast, we set off from Petran tot çharshovë along the Vjosa River – the last wild river in Europe. Along the way, we stop for lunch and have the opportunity to bathe in the river. In the afternoon we arrive in çarshovë for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 çarshovë – Sarandapor
After breakfast we set off to Sarandapor thermal springs, located on the border between Albania and Greece. This mysterious place is famous for hosting the largest underground thermal lake in the world. The waters are said they are healing. Few tourists have discovered it so far, so this allows us to fully enjoy the natural surroundings. The site also holds another intriguing secret, which you will discover on location. After exploring and bathing, we have dinner and stay overnight at the farm.
Day 6 Sarandapor – Leskovik
After preparing the horses, we set off to Leskovik. Upon arrival, we explore the town, famous for its harmonious coexistence of relegions – a church and a mosque standing very close to each other. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 7 Leskovik – Farma Sotira (Las Shelegur)
After breakfast, we leave Leskovik and ride trough open terrain with views of the Sarandaporo Valley. Next, we enter the Shelegur pine and fir forests, a protected natural area in the Kolonjë region. Along the way, we will see old military posts from the communist era and untouched nature. In the afternoon we return to the farm, where dinner and a farewell gathering awaits us.
Day 8 Departure
After breakfast we say goodbye and head of to Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza so we’ll be there around 1pm to catch your flights.
